What are the benefits of my membership?
With your membership to the University of Calgary you get access to our weekly screenings every Friday at 5:30 PM in room 203 Social Science. Additionally, we offer volunteer opportunities with our film festival partners as well as various discounts at Calgary film venues. During the screenings we will occasionally have contests for early screening tickets and swag. Finally, every member of the film society is allowed to contribute to crash/cut, our online magazine.
How much does it cost?
Membership is $5 dollars Canadian annually.
why do i have to pay for membership?
We charge $5 a year for membership in order to pay for various expenses in running the club. Such as rentals and snacks for the screenings and running the website.
Where you located?
Our offices are on the second floor of social sciences, we are the first door on your left (SS 200). But every Friday at 5:30 you will find us in Social Sciences room 203 for our screening.
Is there an opportunity to meet people?
Yep. After every screening we all head down to the Den (located on campus nearby) and talk about movies or whatever.
How do I sign up?
You can either send a request below and pay at your first screening, or simply show up at your first screening.
How do I pay?
Bring $5 CAD to your first screening of the year and you're set.
