What are membership benefits?
With your membership to the University of Calgary you get access to our weekly screenings every Friday at 5:30 PM in room 217 Social Science. Additionally, we offer volunteer opportunities with our film festival partners as well as various discounts at Calgary film venues. During the screenings we will occasionally have contests for early screening tickets and swag. Finally, every member of the film society is allowed to contribute to Crash/Cut, our online magazine.
Do you charge a membership fee?
We charge $5 a year for membership in order to pay for various expenses in running the club. Such as rentals and snacks for the screenings and running the website

Next time you attend a film society screening, speak one of our executives to discuss payment options.
Where is film society located?
Our offices are on the second floor of social sciences in room SS 200, and screenings take place in SS 217.
